Infrastructure Architect

JOB SUMMARY:
Designs, implements, and provides support on major system initiatives with a focus on networks and telecommunications. Works closely with 3rd party vendors in assessing systems, problems, and corrective measures.

Manages individual development of junior personnel. Effectively delegates tasks or projects.

Performs administrative tasks (time logging, documentation, change control, etc.) in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience : Highest level of proficiency and understanding of the MS domain model, including DNS, WINS, DHCP, Replication, security, file, and object permissions, etc.. Will resolve problems that exceed Level I - III engineering staff capabilities.

Must effectively delegates task or projects.

Ability to support and troubleshoot a wide variety of architectures and platforms without difficulty including:

7 + years of hands on experience in two of the following areas: Network Management, Application Development, Operating System Management, Database Administration or Telecommunications. 3 + years of information systems research and development experience. Professional certifications expected. (ie: CCNP, CCIE preferred), 

Extensive knowledge and abilities within the office suite tools and desktop functionality. Excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary for this position. This staff member works closely with the management team in defining vision and strategic plans / future goals. Leadership and delegation skills are a requirement.

Education : Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration. 

Strong troubleshooting skills

Must have knowledge of community manager and mail merger
